HI FRIENDSSS!
SIMPLE TIPS
New Year’s and Christmas with family from San Miguel de Tucumán
I went ice skating
and then refueled with some donuts! 🍩⛸️
Our gang didn’t spend New Year’s holiday together, but a month before that, we hung out for a whole day! We did karaoke, had lunch and dinner, and walked around Blok M, Jakarta. So much fun!
I planned to surf all day, but a reef scratch turned it into a 4-season Office marathon instead 🏄‍♀️➡️📺
My best holiday isn’t about taking a break it’s about working with inspiring leaders and amazing team. Grateful to work online together, this time from Bali
I spent New Year’s with my family and my son in Norte de Santander, Colombia. ❤️✨
I spent New Year’s with my wife and our son in Colombia 🏖️
Hey everyone, how were your holidays?

Christmas at home with the whole family, including our pet 🐶 in Cúcuta, Colombia 🇨🇴
We spent New Year’s at home with my husband and kids, and after dinner we went to the beach to celebrate the New Year. It’s a tradition in Uruguay to wear white.
No barbecue, no fireworks, just spending my New Year’s Eve with my pregnant cat that’s afraid of the sound of fireworks
December 31st with family and friends 🎄
‍Starting the New Year with beautiful Lake Toba views
I went on a road trip along the Brazilian coast, traveling from the South to the Northeast along the Atlantic Ocean. As well as paradise-like beaches ranked among the most beautiful, natural, and wild in the world.

Back in November, our Sales team met for a two-day strategy session.
Not just to talk numbers — but to realign, reconnect, and make sure we’re all moving in the same direction.
Big goals need a solid team behind them — and this session was a perfect reminder of that.
School in Surabaya
We’ve officially opened our second school in Surabaya — and kicked things off with a bang at Algonova Plaza 🎉
Parents joined a tech-ready parenting seminar, kids jumped into trial classes, and yes — even school principals and a local influencer showed up.
Huge shoutout to Diana Chemazokova, Ardini Pangastuti, and Iqbal Prihastowo for repping Algonova on stage 🙌
And the best part?
We’re starting strong: 3 new students and 1 down payment on day one.

Fast forward to today:
We’re dropping fresh gear for our referral campaign — and yep, it looks absolutely awesome in action
We kicked off 2026 with a special visit from our CEO, Andrey Lobanov, at our Denpasar school.
Alongside filming our upcoming brand commercial, Andrey spent time with students - listening to their feedback, answering questions, and sharing his vision for their future growth. It was a great opportunity to connect directly, exchange ideas, and see firsthand the impact of our learning community.
For the Denpasar team, the visit was a chance to engage with leadership and showcase the amazing work happening on campus every day.
We’re dropping fresh gear for our referral campaign — and yep, it looks absolutely awesome in action 😎
The “National Inter-School Hackathon – 2025” took place with support from the Ministry of Science and Education
The main goal? To level up students’ programming and digital skills, spot creative and talented young minds, and open up new opportunities for them to grow and shine. 🚀💻
In December and January, we wrapped up the final stage of the hackathon! 🚀
Winners were chosen, awards were handed out, and appeals were sorted — all fair and transparent.
Each team got their own feedback, and every participant received a certificate of participation.
Everything went according to plan — fun, productive, and full of great vibes. 💻🎉
The Code for Future project wrapped up its Fall 2025/2026 semester at the end of December 🎓✨
The program ran across three universities, and 258 students successfully graduated — congrats to all of them! 🎉
In January, we finalized all the results, organized the graduates’ achievements, and have already started prepping for the next round of selection for the upcoming semester.

Nastya and Maxim in Mexico! 🇲🇽
We’re continuing to grow our business in Latin America, and our leaders are back in Mexico, diving into the action on-site.
Nastya and Maxim will spend the next few months there to stay close to the team, the market, and our customers.
Summer break down in LATAM
While kids in the Northern Hemisphere are just starting school, our friends in Argentina, Peru, Colombia, and Chile are wrapping up their year and diving into their long summer holidays. Think sun, family time, and a well-deserved break—December to February/March is when schools hit pause and the fun begins. Stay tuned for insights from our teachers who bring learning to life across Latin America!
Summer Break Down South!
Juliana Arango
As a mother, I've learned to enjoy and understand the world of children: from Roblox games to animated movies and those spontaneous conversations that define the way kids express themselves. This closeness creates a sense of trust and makes the classes feel more authentic and human. During the summer, this connection is manifested in various ways. We usually travel as a family and visit loved ones. The most beautiful thing is seeing that many students experience the summer in a similar way: some pause their classes, while others continue connecting from wherever they are. Sometimes classes happen from a vacation house, near the pool, or while someone prepares the barbecue 😄. These are moments that show how learning can adapt to the rhythm of life, accompany vacations, and continue to grow together, even in the most everyday scenarios.
Rhem Huarachi
In my case, summer vacations don't usually affect my routine, but they do allow me to enjoy some time to recharge and spend with my family.
Some of my students truly enjoy the vacation period, others stay at home, and it's noticeable that they miss the daily interactions. I have one student who, in each class, talks to me about what has happened in their day while doing their homework.
After a well-deserved break, each student returns in a different way. The transition from vacation is evident in each of them. While some return more relaxed and energized, others are more reserved, but there are always students who share stories of their holidays, and on rare occasions, some return with words of appreciation. Those moments remind us of the impact we have as teachers and how beautiful it is to teach.
Local Context
Malaysia is a highly diverse country with three main communities: Malaysian, Chinese, and Indian. English is the main working language, but some local players adapt content for specific communities and celebrate different cultural holidays.
What We’re Testing
The Malaysia launch is a speed test for us. We’re scaling proven practices from other markets (with strong support from the Indonesia team) while aiming to create a gold standard for fast market launches.
The school system is very fragmented — private schools, Muslim schools, and more. At the same time, coding has been part of many public school programs since 2017, which increases parents’ interest in tech education.
What We’re Learning Already
What’s up with Malaysia? ⭐
Parents are interested only in private classes — no demand for group formats so far.
Families are very results-driven and actively ask about competitions and progress tracking.
Parents want to know exactly who the teacher is, not just the platform or the course. (And yes — maybe motivational classes are next)
Closed (new leads):2
-course not suited, the child already has coding course and thought this is a motivational class
-prefer offline
Our first payment in Malaysia has just come through — yay!
Congratulations, team!

STORIES: More than a job
By day, Jesus Palacio - TCM in our LATAM team.
By night — he’s a musician.
We asked Jesus how he manages to balance sales and stage life, where he finds his energy, and what really gives him that spark — at work and beyond it.
Let’s dive into his story.
What do these two worlds have in common that people usually don’t notice?
Both are about the same thing: connecting with people.
The format changes, but the core idea stays the same.

If you could give advice to someone who is afraid to combine work and hobbies,
what would it be?

Don’t pressure yourself to combine them too quickly. Work helps you support yourself and learn discipline. A hobby is for trying things, making mistakes, and enjoying the process. If a hobby gets responsibilities too early, it can burn out. It’s better to let each one do its job and bring them together only when it makes sense.
Why?
TL;DR = Too Long; Didn’t Read
When it comes to Gemini, here’s what we’ve got —
since we’re on a paid Google Workspace plan:
Not for the hype, not just because “everyone’s doing it” — but to actually make our work better.
AI is the new black, if you’re asking 😉
And hey, AI doesn’t have to be for super complex tasks.
Sometimes it’s just for small things, like automating boring or repetitive stuff — basically, making life easier.
One of our big goals this year — getting comfy with AI in work (and not just work) stuff 🤖
The world’s changing fast, and it’s super important for everyone in the company to know how to use the tools that modern tech gives us
Gemini itself
Gemini Gems
Google AI Studio
NotebookLM
Custom AI Assistants
Full access to the latest models — including image and video generation (hello Veo / Nana Banana 👀)
You can create your own personal AI experts who know your preferences or handle specific tasks (writing emails, generating ideas, learning, and more).
A super lightweight tool for vibe-coding simple solutions.
Yes, it’s limited in functionality — but it’s free and available to everyone with a corporate Google account. Perfect for quick experiments and prototypes.
A tool based on the latest Gemini models that helps analyze data and conduct research using reliable sources. It can be used first of all for analyzing presentations, and secondly for podcasts or materials, for example, for self-study of certain topics.
Important part:
Back in January, a super proactive crew already pulled off an internal hackathon — where everyone was vibe-coding tools they’d been seriously missing in their day-to-day work 💻✨
Most of the participants had already been using AI tools before.
But not that long ago, it would’ve been hard to imagine that we could build our own apps or tools this fast — and this easily.
